Gates replaced my roof, removed and replaced the gutters, and painted the fascia boards. All work was expertly done. My roof is a complex shape and did not qualify as an insurance claim, so I had many questions about the materials and construction details. Andrew addressed ALL of my questions and let me review materials before work began. The materials and workmanship were first rate. The installation of the step flashing without disturbing the stucco walls required extra care and was done perfectly. Gates stood out compared to six other contractors during the quote process, and I believe he delivered the highest value service available in my area. I strongly recommend Gates.

We had a great experience with Gates Enterprises from start to finish! This was our first time replacing a roof, and they made the entire process easy and stress-free. Brandon Bailey , our Project Manager, was fantastic — he explained everything clearly and guided us every step of the way. They even made sure someone was present when the insurance adjuster came out, so we never felt like we were going through it alone. The communication and customer service was outstanding . Hunter was great! Very detail-oriented and was very communicative throughout the whole process. To be completely honest, I was kind of shocked at how great everything turned out. I am very observant and very picky and generally after contractors I check all the work and find something wrong. I could not find one thing wrong and they did a fantastic job cleaning up. Overall very very good experience
Hunter was an exceptional project manager for our recent roof installation. He helped us handle claims with insurance and even jumped through the HOA hoops for us. Installation went seamlessly, and he communicated well throughout the process. Bonus: he’s also a really nice guy!
I had my roof replaced by Gates five years ago and had what I thought was a minor warranty issues with the venting on the roof. I reach out to Drew and he was on it! Turns out that it was an issue with my furnace duct and nothing to do with the roof venting at all. I would've never known if Drew didn't send out a professional to take a look. These guys deserve more than 5 stars. I’m an Architect who has pivoted to doing my own work fixing and flipping single family homes, so I’ve worked with a number of roofers, but Gates, and particularly Demetri, we’re just outstanding on my personal residence.. They removed and installed 40+ squares in ONE day. And Demetri coordinated very professionally with my insurance company. I’m very happy with them and intend to call Demetri next time I need a roof!
I have had this outfit roof all my rentals and my personal house. They use the class 4 shingle. Every time I used them the owner sent out a senior guy and they did a great job. After a hail storm in May '24 damaged my roof and property, Gates Enterprises was very helpful in making me whole again. Dominick was helpful and communicative. He answered all my questions walked me through the whole process from ensuring accurate documentation of all damage to the final inspection. My roof and gutters were replaced quickly and efficiently while thoroughly cleaning the work area upon completion.

Seems to be hard to find an honest, trustworthy contractor these days. We had hail damage on three roofs so I hired a contractor that gave me the run around so I canceled my agreement with them and was referred to Gates Enterprise and I am glad I was. Matt came out to meet with me to provide a quote. First impressions are important and Matt was early, professional and knowledgeable. No high pressure sales and I chose him after meeting with two others. Matt scheduled the team who showed up early and worked hard and completed the job early and went above and beyond all commitments. If you need a honest professional and cost effective roofer I would highly suggest you give Gates Enterprise a try. You won’t regret it. Great job Matt and Thank you!!!
Five stars aren’t enough! Max Acuna and his team went above and beyond my expectations. Max personally negotiated with my insurance company, securing a comprehensive hail-damage settlement that I never anticipated. The entire job was evaluated and completed weeks ahead of schedule. To top it off, the new high-quality roof shingles are now saving us a significant amount on our yearly insurance costs. I can’t praise Max’s professionalism, transparent approach, and reasonable pricing enough. Highly recommended!

Andrew and his contractors exceeded my expectations when dealing with a roofing company. We had a roof leak after a recent snow melt and after speaking on the phone, he arrived at my house same day (within the hour) and was able to properly diagnose the issue. While on the property he went above and beyond to ensure that he would have it repaired SAME DAY in order to protect the interior of the home. Andrew and his team were prompt, professional and explained each step along the way until the job was finished. They were also completely reasonably priced. Would highly recommend Gates Enterprises and Andrew for all of your roofing needs!

Jeff Kramer, our project manager was excellent. He was available, upfront and on top of the replacement of our roof which included the removal and reinstalling of our solar panels. The work crews were fast, respectful of us and our property, while doing a great job. Our new roof and gutters look and preform as they should. Our solar is back up and running with minor delays. His suggestions for class four hail resistant shingles is now saving us on insurance fees. We truly appreciated Jeff throughout the project. .

I worked with Cameron to have my roof inspected, file the claim, and get it replaced based on hail damage. He made the process incredibly easy and seamless for me. He handled speaking with the adjuster, my HOA, pulling permits, and was there with the crew while it was being replaced. As a homeowner who doesn’t often work with contractors on large jobs, I went into the roofing project with some dread. After receiving two quotes and working on a third, Cameron Waits of Gates Enterprises rang the doorbell. Soon he was accompanied by other Gates folks and their drone. In a few hours the quote was delivered by Cameron as well as Andrew Gates (founder). The quoted cost was equal to or better than the other quotes but was more detailed in its description of the job and tasks which was helpful given my 33-year-old shake roof and lack of roofing experience. Cameron kept us well informed regarding schedule, inspections, and overall expectations while answering all questions as we decided on a contractor. The crew did a great job on the installation with no surprises. Very easy experience at a competitive cost.
These guys replaced our roof, and I can't be happier with the work they did. Aaron Ward was our project manager and did a great job from the start, from working with our insurance company to getting our roof replacement approved, to overseeing his crew, he was always available for any questions we had. Nico was the lead roofer, and his team did a great job. They tarped the ground to protect it from debris and trash. The removal and replacement of the roof was expertly performed, and their clean-up was exceptional. Cameron, who helped us from the start, was amazing. After being denied from our insurance with a different contractor, I really was skeptical about the possibility of getting it replaced. After initially inspecting the roof, Cameron felt that a replacement was justified from the recent hailstorm and I agreed to give it another shot. What a great decision that was. Cameron was able to secure what was needed before the deadline and everything went so smooth. 10 out of 10 and I would recommend Gates Enterprises to everyone, thanks again!

What can I say about the people at Gates Enterprises. Let’s start by I’m always annoyed when they come to my door asking about your roof. But this time I was waiting for someone to come and my man Cass Youtz comes and went above and beyond for me. I thought he was just promising me a whole bunch of stuff but boy I was wrong. This guy and his crew went above and beyond for me and my family. He got me a new roof and new gutters and it stayed outstanding. Phil was great to work with and responded quickly to questions. His company upgraded our shingles and installed our roof 1.5 days. When our insurance did not pay the last check, his company followed up and got them to release the check after we informed Gates of it.

I had my first experience with Gates in 2022. One of their people, Andrew, stopped by and wanted to know if I would like a roof inspection as there had been a hail storm in 2021. He found that there was damage and assisted me in making a claim with Nationwide, which wasn't even my insurer in 2022.That all went smoothly and I was very happy with the work. In 2023 there was another hail storm. Andrew came out, verified that there was damage and we got a claim going. Given my experience in 2022, there was no question that I would have Gates do my roofing again. There was a lot more damage this time including not only the year old roof but also siding, windows and the metal roof in the outbuildings. At this point Gates has done a lot more than just roofing for me. I am at a place that I trust them and when I have most any construction or repair work that I need done, I call Gates first.

I had an excellent experience with Gates to replace my roof. It was hit by hail and damaged. The project crew identified that the decking under the shingles had to be replaced to be code compliant. Ironically the prior roofer did not indicate this. They worked with my insurance company and got the decking covered promptly. The roof installation was smooth and the crew cleaned up my yard. I did not find any nails left behind! Thank you to the Gates team for great communication and flawless execution.

In the past we have had negative experiences with roofing companies/insurance companies, and so we were weary of signing a contract but we are so glad we did. Our roof was badly damaged after the hail storm that passed through Thornton this year. We had a lot of anxiety about what the repairs might cost, as we saw a lot of our neighbors getting their roofs replaced. Thankfully Gates was the company already working with a bunch of our neighbors. Our project manager was Phil Ross. He was professional, knowledgeable, and communicative every step of the way. He really simplified the process for us, and made sure we were fairly compensated by our insurance company so that we could get the full roof replacement.
