Job Description: Are you a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for roofing and construction? Gates Enterprises is looking for a Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing roofing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive and adaptable candidate who is not afraid to get on roofs, generate sales through various methods (including door-to-door canvassing), and manage roofing projects with precision. This is a 1099 (Independent Contractor) position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roof Inspections: Conduct thorough roof inspections to assess the scope of work required for each project, identifying potential issues, and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Sales Generation: Proactively generate roofing sales leads through various methods, including door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referrals.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Project Management: Oversee roofing projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with roofing crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Self-Starter and Organized: You will be expected to be a self-starter who can take initiative and drive projects forward independently. This includes keeping records and staying organized with all phases of each job.
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment on job sites and enforce safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to generate leads and close deals.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and climb roofs as needed.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bonus Points: Proven experience in roofing or construction, with a deep understanding of roofing materials and installation techniques.
Compensation:
- $800 per week for 4 weeks of training.
- After training, the position is fully commissioned.
- Earning potential ranging up to $400,000 per year or more, depending on sales performance.
